Slate Rectangle Plaque

Tips:

1. Paint a thin layer of clear coat before engraving. For outdoors, use auto clear coat.

2. Use a 1.5” lens; you can reach 300 dpi.

3. When engraving a portrait, design the headshot as large as you can. 

*Please Note: Slate displays a property called fissility, which is why slate consists of thin-layers. Due to this nature, the thinnest edges are very brittle when creating the rough-edged effect. Please be aware that there may be natural imperfections to the edges of the tiles when ordering this product.
